Sometimes conflict in the home becomes a barrier to effective plan development. It is important to address the conflict in order to effectively implement a Point-and-Level system and to increase the chances of success with the Self-Management Plan. This workshop will demonstrate one approach for addressing conflict by helping families manage button pushing. We will review the button pushing cycle, common parent and teen buttons, button busting strategies and a sample of an exit and wait plan.
